“My path has been one of syncretism and I allow it all to inform my teaching. My childhood was spent as a musician which in later years led me to the world of pageantry and in all that, Yoga found me at the age of 15. Hours were spent everyday after school practicing yoga in my room. The flexibility and body control gained from that practice created the space for a brief career as a competitive gymnast, this combined with a background in pageantry opened the doors to my professional dancing/entertainment career. As fate would have it, a knee injury while on stage that would later require surgery brought a new dimension to yoga. It was when yoga became a tool for regeneration and recover that the next right thing for me was to become certified and to share this technology…” ~Yogiji
